Two fizzy gin cocktails to get your taste buds tingling: a Grapefruit Fizz and a Strawberry & Lychee Highball!

These two fabulously fizzy gin cocktails make for the ultimate summer refreshment! With one cocktail brimming with delightfully bittersweet grapefruit and elegant bergamot tones and the other kissed by notes of strawberry and lychee, the only problem that you’re going to have is deciding which to try first.
The key ingredients in these two tasty tipples are Upstream Grapefruit & Bergamot and Upstream Strawberry & Lychee, either of which lucky Craft Gin Club members could find in their August 2021 Gin of the Month box. Both of these fruity, bubbly soft drinks work so well with the rich, complex juniper notes of gin.

Grapefruit Gin Fizz
The addition of bergamot’s unique, tasty citrus flavours really take this simple Grapefruit Gin Fizz cocktail recipe to the next level. Using fresh rosemary as a garnish then adds remarkable herb aromas that work with both the gin and the Upstream Grapefruit & Bergamot.
50ml gin
Squeeze of fresh pink grapefruit juice
Upstream Grapefruit & Bergamot, to top up
Pink grapefruit or rosemary, to garnish
Add the gin and a squeeze of fresh grapefruit juice to a tumbler with ice. Top up with Upstream Grapefruit & Bergamot and garnish with pink grapefruit or rosemary.
Strawberry & Lychee Highball
Strawberry and lychee are a match made in heaven. The juicy, refreshing, perfumed sweetness of lychee is the perfect complement to the plump strawberries and in this cocktail, both sing out wonderfully. Those traditional juniper notes of the gin then take this combination of flavours to new heights.
50ml gin
3 fresh strawberries
Upstream Strawberry & Lychee, to top up
Fresh mint and rosemary, to garnish
Add gin and two sliced strawberries to a highball glass with ice. Top up with Upstream Strawberry & Lychee and garnish with the remaining strawberry and fresh herbs.
