But what is matcha?
Matcha is an energising Japanese green tea made from finely powdered leaves. This eye-catching green tea has a bright flavour profile, that combines subtle sweetness, earthy bitterness, umami and delicious vegetal notes into an amazingly moreish blend. After tasting it, the innovators at Tia Maria decided to experiment with the complex ingredient, with the aim of capturing its essence in a creamy liqueur.

The result of the experimentation by Tia Maria’s experts is an indulgent liqueur that looks as good as it tastes. Green in colour and gorgeously frothy, its smooth texture and delicious yet subtle flavours make it dangerously drinkable.
