Wessex Alfred the Great Gin is bursting with historical botanicals that fit neatly into the beautiful blue, apothecary-style bottle that the liquid comes in! So when we were creating the cocktail to showcase this mystical spirit, we knew it had to be spell-binding! We have combined Wessex gin, Binary Botanical and the fruity Taylerson’s Blackcurrant syrup to create “King Arthur’s Charm” And we will think you’ll agree it tastes and looks fit for a king or queen…
King Arthur’s Charm
Ingredients:
40ml Wessex Alfred the Great Gin
100ml Binary Botanical
1 tsp caster sugar
25ml Taylerson’s Blackcurrant Syrup
Method:
Combine gin, Binary Botanical and caster sugar in a mixing glass and stir over ice until the sugar is dissolved and the drink is chilled. Strain into a goblet (or a wine glass, if you don’t have a goblet at hand!) and pour the syrup in slowly so that it settles at the bottom. Garnish with a lemon twist for a cocktail fit for a king!
