That’s why we couldn’t wait to try this brilliant new martini recipe, designed by the wonderful distillers at GŴYR Distillery - the team behind Rhamanta Gin, our February 2020 Gin of the Month!
Rose Petal Martini
1tsp rose petal syrup
50ml GŴYR Rhamanta Gin
25ml of vermouth
Dried rose petals, to garnish (available at Waitrose and Amazon - or make your own!)
First, you’ll need to make the rose petal syrup: combine 100ml of water and 100g of sugar in a saucepan with 2 tbsp of dried rose petals. Simmer gently until the sugar and water have combined into a syrup then strain and cool before use.
To make the martini: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Then add your first three ingredients, shake them well and strain them into a martini glass. Garnish with dried rose petals and enjoy!
