Peach & Elderflower Gin Spritz

This beautiful mix of elderflower, peach, gin and prosecco flavours is a refreshing burst of summer that no spritz cocktail fan will want to miss!

The key to this cocktail is picking the right gin for the job and, for us, that means Café Del Mar Gin from the iconic team at the Café Del Mar bar in Ibiza - Craft Gin Club's July 2024 Gin of the Month.

This gorgeous craft London Dry gin is floral and citrusy, with notes of blood orange, hibiscus and rose that complement the peach and elderflower flavours in this cocktail in ways nothing else can.

The peach tones in this serve then come from Peach Schnapps. Yes, this peach-flavoured liqueur is just the sweet, fragrant hit of peachy delight that's needed to round out the gin and elderflower notes while still being juicy and inviting itself.

For the elderflower, we are using elderflower-flavoured tonic water (you can find some delicious elderflower tonics here!).

This mixer is great in this cocktail because it adds those summery floral elderflower notes but also a savoury, subtly bitter touch of quinine which really grounds the flavour profile, adding layers of complexity.

The last component of this cocktail recipe is the prosecco. You can use champagne, cava or any other sparkling white wine here but we love the crisp freshness of prosecco. It elevates every sip fo this summer spritz.
