We love a good punch here at Craft Gin Club HQ, they are so perfect for parties or simply treating yourself at festive times, especially when the punch is full of gin and beautifully bubbly Champagne!
This version is made with a mix of fresh blackberries and créme de cassis liqueur, that gorgeous blackberry-flavoured spirit. Those deep, sweet and tart berry flavours work so well with the sparkling white wine and the gin in this stunning cocktail recipe, which easily serves six.
Blackberry Champagne Punch
Our first choice gin for this cocktail is our exclusive October 2020 Gin of the Month, Whitby Gin The Demeter Edition. Its complex mix of juniper, spice and floral flavours are a great partner to the jam-like blackberry notes and effervescent Champagne.
Ingredients
24 fresh blackberries
240ml Whitby Gin The Demeter Edition
60ml crème de cassis liqueur
60ml blackcurrant juice
120ml lemon juice
50g sugar
300ml Champagne or other sparkling white wine, to top up
Method
Add all the ingredients to a punch bowl over ice and give them a stir to dissolve the sugar. Serve alongside highball glasses, additional ice and more fresh blackberries, to garnish.
