Martini Fiero is the most delicious tipple to enjoy with gin this spring and summer!
From the shimmer of the perfect dry martini to the ruby glow of the negroni, many a classic gin cocktail relies on the beautiful products produced by one of Italy’s most iconic brands: Martini.
One of those remarkable products is Martini Fiero, which we sent our members in their May 2020 Gin of the Month box, it’s the perfect way to add a touch of southern European style to your evenings in the garden - take a sip and you’ll be living la dolce vita! Especially when you try it in a coconut Garibaldi cocktail or simply with tonic water in a Fiero and tonic. Martini Fiero’s remarkably bold bitter orange citrus and complex herb notes shine through wonderfully in both! Scroll down to find out more!
An icon all of its own, Martini – best known in the UK as the producer of vermouths and sparkling wines – has been a symbol of Italian style ever since clever entrepreneur Alessandro Martini, master herbalist Luigi Rossi and Teofilo Sola produced the first Martini Rosso more than 150 years ago.
Their products have long been the cornerstone of the practice of aperitivo (a pre-dinner drink designed to tantalise your taste buds and whet your appetite), but Martini wasn’t happy just to rest on its laurels. Rather, they’ve harnessed the innovative spirit of their founders to craft a product that reinvents aperitivo for the modern age: Martini Fiero.
Designed to be perfectly paired with tonic water, Fiero is also an excellent addition to cocktails. Bitter, bright and complex, it’s the perfect drink to savour with friends, family and the people you love.
With the incredible punch of orange flavour suffusing the Martini Fiero, the hard part is already done – just add tonic and you’re ready to relax with friends. This ease, Roberta explains, is by design.

75ml tonic water
Blood orange wheel, to garnish

Coconut Garibaldi
Ingredients
30ml coconut-washed gin
20ml Martini Fiero
fresh orange juice, to top up
orange wedge and cherry, to garnish
Method
You will need to make your coconut-washed gin first: Mix 20ml liquid coconut oil into 150ml gin. Leave it to infuse for at least five hours (preferably overnight), and then pop it into the fridge. The oil will separate from the gin and solidify after about 20 minutes; strain through a coffee filter or fine mesh. Your gin is now ready to use!
Fill a highball glass with ice and add your gin and Martini Fiero followed by the orange juice. Garnish and serve.
