Craft Gin Club's May 2024 Rum of the Month is Island Dark Rum from the incredible team at Isle of Barra Distillers Co., all the way up on the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides. Wonderfully spiced with rich with caramel notes all elevated by touches of citrus, coconut and a pinch of salt. No rum fan will want to miss this special spirit!
The Isle of Barra is an unusual place. In a constant battle with the North Atlantic and in the firing line of harsh Scandinavian winds, it's a place that breeds a special kind of people that Isle of Barra Distillery sums up brilliantly – island-born with a fearless spirit.
