Craft Gin Club's February Rum of the Month: West Midlands Distillery Rum
This stunning spiced rum from West Midlands Distillery is influenced by the fragrant flavours of the Caribbean and is such a delicious dram that's beautifully balanced and a wonderful tipple for February.
Founded by Jordan Lunn in 2017, West Midlands Distillery keeps flavour at the core of everything they do. Experimenting with all manner of botanicals and ingredients and harnessing the knowledge of the team and the power of their state-of-the-art equipment, the talented team are constantly creating exciting new flavour combinations to add to their spirits range.
West Midlands Distillery Rum offers a warming peppery heat and subtle smoky flavour that's balanced with bright citrus and a well-rounded, nutty flavour. It's absolutely delicious enjoyed neat but also pairs delightfully well with a fiery ginger beer, zingy lime or even a touch of chilli.
This truly unique bottling from Jordan and the team at West Midlands Distillery is inspired by the cuisine of the Caribbean, particularly the smoke and spice of classic jerk chicken. The distillery’s endless experimentation with botanicals and dedication to fabulous flavours shines through in this sumptuous sip. The complex, layered flavours are delicious enjoy neat, on ice or paired with a fiery ginger ale.

Each month we send our members the recipe for the ultimate rum serve, plus all the ingredients to make it! This custom recipe has been carefully curated by the Craft Gin Club flavour experts to perfectly suit the Rum of the Month and provide you with the ultimate sipping experience.
In February's Perfect Serve, the sweet and savoury spices are a mouth-watering combination in West Midlands Distillery Rum which is elevated by a delicately sweet and warming mixer and a hint of citrus in the garnish. Find the recipe below!

Ingredients
- 50ml West Midlands Distillery Rum
- 200ml Marlish Ginger Ale
- Dried lemon, to garnish
Method
Fill a rocks glass with ice and pour in the rum and mixer. Add the garnish, stir gently to infuse and serve.
Craft Gin Club's February 2025 Cocktail of the Month: Copper Kiss
On top of the Perfect Serve recipe, Clubbers will also receive the ingredients for our February 2025 Cocktail of the Month – Craft Gin Club’s Copper Kiss!
Carefully created by our master mixologist, Maria Vieira, this orange spiced cocktail contains nutty, full-bodied notes of rooibos and velvety layers of sweet vanilla that pair beautifully with its refreshing citrus mixer – we guarantee it’ll be love at first sip! See the recipe below.
February 2025 Copper Kiss Recipe:
Ingredients
- 50ml West Midlands Distillery Rum
- 25ml Copper Kiss Cocktail Syrup
- 100ml Marlish Brazilian Orange Sparkling Water
- Orange peel and mint, to garnish
Method
Fill a highball or tiki glass with ice and add your rum, cocktail syrup and mixer. Give a quick stir to combine, then garnish and serve.
