From pink gins and flavoured gins to classic London Dry Gins and Navy Strength Gins and even Old Toms, we have been lucky enough to try so many of the best craft gins from all over the world - yes, we know, it’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it! And here at Craft Gin Club HQ, we are always discussing the question of which gin is best. There are endless answers, of course. There are just so many incredible gins out there and even more personal preferences when it comes to choosing them. So we have decided to try and narrow things down a little by sharing with you some of our all-time favourites, which we think rank among the best gins in the world.
This mouth-watering list of gins follows on from our previous 50 best gins to try before you die list, together they make a list of the 100 best gins that every true gin lover should know and should try at least once.

Makar Cherry Gin
This gin is named after the ancient Scottish word for ‘poet’. Poetry is certainly what you get with this stunning, award-winning flavoured gin from Glasgow. Full of ripe cherry and pink peppercorn tones, there’s no other pink gin that’s quite like it!

Juniper, fresh lemon, fresh rosemary, black pepper, coriander seed, liquorice, cassia bark and angelica. Those are distilled and then the gin is then macerated with fresh cherries and pink peppercorns.
Cherry and juniper are followed by warm spice and citrus tones on the nose. They are then joined on the palate by flavours of stone fruits on a base of bold juniper. Fresh cherry and liquorice last long into the well-rounded finish.
Perfect Serve
This gin works wonderfully with lemonade or a good tonic water, especially when garnished with fresh cherries.
Copperfield London Dry Gin Volume 2
This is The Surrey Copperfield Distillery’s second gin and it is brimming with floral flavours that will transport you to the beautiful flowerbeds of Britain’s well-kept gardens. It’s a quality craft gin that’s full of flowery joy!

Sibling Negroni Gin

Juniper, pear, blackberry, allspice, lemongrass, angelica root, myrrh, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves, coriander, oats, cinnamon and frankincense. Once these botanicals are distilled the liquid is compounded with a ginger and cinnamon syrup. This gives the gin a sweetly spiced flavour that is utterly delicious!
The nose of this gin is full of sweet and spice tones on a strong juniper backdrop. They continue onto the palate where they are met by vibrant blackberry and mellow pear notes. The delectable finish is a symphony of spiced fruit flavours.

Amázzoni Rio Negro
Amázzoni Gin was our July 2020 Gin of the Month and what a gin it is! This is its younger, stronger brother. Made with 5 times more lemon peel, juniper and coriander and with a much higher ABV, it certainly packs a punch. It’s a stunning Brazilian gin!
