Cheese and wine, strawberries and cream, gin and tonic - somethings were just meant to be together. We pretty much pair gin with everything here at Craft Gin Club, but we're biased...however, this week we paired two of our absolute favourites - gin and chocolate!

Working with our dear friends at Willie's Cacao, we took the tasting notes of some of our favourite gin cocktails and paired them with some of Willie's wonderful chocolate. Willie's create chocolate in a similar way a fine craft gin is put together, creating complex, exciting and delicious chocolates.

We urge you to try these combinations out...you will not be disappointed! PLUS Willie’s are currently giving our fabulous fans 25% off all online orders by using code: GIN25 over on Willie’s Cacao website!

Rio Caribe 72 paired with a Toffee Gin Martini

The Rio Caribe 72 is a single estate Venezuelan dark chocolate with coffee nutty notes, meaning it is the perfect partner to our Toffee Gin Martini.

The toasted and nutty depths of the chocolate compliment the creamy, caramel of this decadent tipple.

Luscious Orange paired with a St Clements Martini

Luscious Orange. The naturally occurring honey notes in this Cuban dark chocolate go particularly well with the orange.

Luscious Orange is a great match to a citrus led cocktails like this St Clements Martini, made with City of London Distillery Six Bells Gin.

Milk of the Stars paired with an Espresso Martini

Surabaya 54 single estate milk chocolate is made with a beautiful bean from Surabaya in Indonesia with intense caramel notes.

We paired this one with a ginny twist on the classic espresso martini. Coffee, chocolate, gin - what's not to love!
