8 Game of Thrones gin cocktails every fan needs to try
It's back! Are you as excited about the return of Game of Thrones to our screens this week as we are? Don't worry if you haven't had a chance to catch up yet, we won't spoil anything - but we will suggest that you give at least one of these of these Game of Thrones-themed cocktails a go when you settle down to watch the next episode. Sounds like a good deal to us...
House Stark Martini
100ml tonic
30ml gin
Lemon Juice
Caster Sugar
Method:
Pour the tonic into a plastic container and put in the freezer until completely frozen.
Put some sugar in a saucer. Smear the rim of a Martini glass with a little lemon juice and dip in the sugar.
Take your frozen tonic out the freezer and crush it up with a spoon. Add the crushed tonic ice to the Martini glass. Pour gin and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice over the top.

50mls Gin
12.5mls limoncello
25mls Grand Marnier
Juniper berries, cassia bark & nutmeg
Method:
Set alight, toss from flaming cup to flaming cup and then fling into a large warmed brandy balloon and serve flaming.
White Walker
35ml Shortcross Wild Clover Gin
12.5ml Lime Juice
12.5ml Lemon Juice
30ml Sugar syrup
35ml Double Cream
20ml Egg white
2 dashes orange bitters
Method:
Vigorously shake all the ingredients with ice for as long as you can - at least a couple of minutes if you can manage it! Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with orange peel.
House Baratheon Cocktail
50 ml water
50 ml honey
50 ml gin
30 ml lemon juice
30 ml fresh orange juice
Method:
First, make a honey syrup by gently warming the honey and water together in a small pan. When the mixture boils, take off the heat and leave it to cool completely.
Put 30 ml of the cooled syrup into a cocktail shaker. Add the remaining ingredients, shake with ice, strain and pour into a glass.
Valar Morgulis
50mls Gin
3 dashes of absinthe
20mls lemon juice
100mls tonic water
sprig of rosemary, sprig of lavender
Method:
Shake all the ingredients except the tonic and double strain into a glass (or drinking horn, if you have one lying around) packed with crushed ice. Top with the tonic water.
The Spider
30ml gin
30ml dry vermouth
30ml Lillet Blanc
12 drops rose water
Method:
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
House Tyrell
4 mint leaves
4 basil leaves
1 tablespoon sugar
50ml lime juice
80ml gin
Soda water
Method:
Muddle the basil, mint and sugar thoroughly in a cocktail shaker. Add the lime juice, gin and ice cubes. Shake and pour into a glass. Top up with soda water. Garnish with lime quarters and some extra mint and basil leaves.

30m gin
30ml Cocchi Americano or Lillet Blanc
30ml Cointreau
30ml fresh lemon juice
1 dash absinthe
Orange peel, for garnish
Method:
Shake all ingredients together in an ice-filled cocktail shaker; strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with orange peel.
