Free gin and cake! Meet March's #Ginstagram Winners
Every month as their Gin of the Month boxes arrive, our Members get snapping and sharing pictures of their surprise parcels to enter into our #Ginstagram Picture Prize. We award the member with the top pic their next month's box completely free of charge!
In March, we're also rewarding our winner and four runners-up with a three-month subscription to The Cake Nest. Designed to fit perfectly though the letterbox, The Cake Nest's Monthly Cake Slice Club sees the postman delivering delicious cake straight to your door every month - almost as good as gin!
This month saw members getting well into the spirit of Shortcross Wild Clover Gin, and we were thrilled to see a good few entrants getting into the wild outdoors to take their photos. Check out the winner and runners-up below - and if you're receiving April's box (due to arrive tomorrow!) don't forget to get snapping and sharing your photos to win free gin and other amazing prizes!
March #Ginstagram Winner
Rachael Young
We loved new Club Member Rachael's photo for a couple of reasons. Not only did she get her box contents out in the open (which we love), she also snapped them against the iconic Northern Irish backdrop of the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast, where her son had taken for a Mothers' Day trip. A perfect tribute to March's Shortcross Wild Clover Gin - which, like The Titanic, was made in Northern Ireland and goes down a bit too easily! Congratulations to Rachael, who gets her next month's box for free, as well as a three month subscription the The Cake Nest Monthly Cake Slice Club.
Ginstagram Picture Prize Runners-Up
Carol Stephens
Carol tells us she "discovered wild clovers are related to the pea family. So thought it would be lovely to use a sugar snap pea garnish." We love the idea - and it certainly looks great in its springtime setting!
Emma Theobald
Emma's Easter-themed pic not only got us hungry for chocolate, we were impressed with her cocktail making skills too - all in all, a mouth-watering image!
Nicola Howard-Boyd
We were transported to the beautiful Northern Irish coast by Nicola's photo, taken in White Park Bay, County Antrim. The perfect spot to enjoy a delicious Shortcross Gin...
Hilary McCann
Hilary is clearly a woman after our own hearts - we love a crisp butty! And what a great way to make use of March's Tayto crisps. We also liked how she got all of the box contents in the pic - and sneaked in a Titanic reference too, with her lovely print in the background.
